Die Installation dauert bis zu ca. 5 Minuten
1. myDDC/myDAC noch NICHT anschliessen
2. die ASIO Treiber Installation starten
3. wenn die Installation fertig ist, 2 bsi 4 Minuten warten, dann- NEUSTART Power off/on des Computers
4. den myDDC/myDAC anschliessen - etwas warten bis sich die Treiber initialisiert haben, 2 bsi 4 Minuten warten, dann- NEUSTART Power off/on des Computers
5. die Musikabspielsoftware starten - wichtig !!! im Musik-Abspielprogramm unter Einstellungen/Soundausgabe muss die ASIO Musiland Ausgabe angewählt werden.

In case you hear drop outs or cracklings, the reason might be:
a) the PC-hardware which was good running under Win7 or XP, has not enough recources fur running Windows 10 with the ASIO driver
Solution: hardware upgrade or clean out and optimize Windows, the later is always a good idea!
b) set the Buffers ( top left in the ASIO driver window ) double the default value .
The Installation takes around 5 minutes
1. do NOT connect the myDDC/myDAC
2. start the driver installation
3. when ready, wait some 2 to 4 minutes and switch off/on the Computer
4. now connect the myDDC/myDAC to USB - wait some 2 minutes until the initialisation process is finished and switch off/on the computer
5. start the Music player software - important !!! in the Music player software under settings / options the audio/soundoutput must be set to ASIO Musiland

1. Download the M-driver here and put it on the desktop

2. install the M-driver by double click - then restart your MAC
3. connect the myDDC / miniDAC to USB port.
4. go to system settings AUDIO and select the M-Audio USB output
5. start iTunes and Play music
6. click on the round M-symbol in the upper right corner, select SHOW. Now the M-drivers Window shows up.
Here you can see if the Level-Indicators are moving, this indictes music is played through the M-Driver - all seems OK now.
7. if the Level-Indicators are NOT moving, go to system settings AUDIO and select the M-Audio USB output
Troubleshooting: if the Level-Indicators are in a half or frozen state, no sound
1. close any music player software eg iTunes etc.
2. chlick on the round M-symbol in the upper right corner, select EXIT.
3. then restart the M-Driver by clicking on the blue M-symbol in the programs folder.
Two recommended settings for your MAC System :
For HighResolution playback
1. open Audio MIDI Setup, found in /Applications/Utilities. Select the desired output on the left, and then change the settings in the Format section on the right to
96 kHz and 2ch-24bit or 192 kHz and 2ch-24bit. All Files other than 96 (or 192) are now played with 96 or 192kHz.

The AQVOX driver is based upon a proprietary driver technology. It is compatible with many USB-DACs from other companies (please ask for compatibility of your DAC model or just try out). The driver works with all windows/apple based media players, sound programs and all kinds of file formats.
Please mind that the AQVOX ASIO driver is not ideal for musicians who want to record signals from MIDI-keyboards etc., because it is not optimized for short latency, but for best sound quality and compatibility with most computer types.
Most ASIO freeware is not ideal, since they are no real drivers but merely “wrappers”. Although those drivers bypass the Windows Kernel Mixer, and avoiding a good part of the sound degrading resampling (here’s more on this topic), they nevertheless route the audio data through the Windows Sound System. The point is that the integrated sound systems and USB-Kernels of the operating systems are not optimized for audiophile requirements yet for low CPU load in conjunction with various plug-ins and drivers. Timing priorities are chosen in such a way that high jitter level occurs and resamplings degrade sound quality.
The AQVOX driver has clearly better soundquality as WASAPI, DS Direct-Sound, KS Kernel-Streaming or similar solutions. The AQVOX driver routes the soundinformation 100% bit-transparent by establishing a 'Sound-Pipeline' through the windows system. The 'soundbytes' are untouched by the winsows-system and thus have extremely low jitter (because of no waitstates or intrerrupts) and are then handed over from the USB-Ports to the USB-Chip inside the USB-DAC via hardwarehandshake - this is true hardware-ASIO.

Troubleshooting:
1. FIRST download the latest version from our homepage
2. Then install software - then plug in the USB-deive.
3. Stopp all running programs that are not vital
SWITCH OFF - WLAN - Wireless-Lan, virus-scanner, automatic software updater, automatic email-updater and so on. Please do not contact us for help regarding dropouts, crackles and the like until you did not stopped these services.
4. The AQVOX ASIO driver-installation is USB-Port-related. The USB-Audiodevice works only properly with the ASIO driver at the USB-port what was used during the ASIO driver installation. If a different USB-port should be used the ASIO Software must be un-installed. After restart of the computer the ASIO driver needs to be re-installed and during the installation the USB-Audiodevice needs to be connected with the new USB-port.
5a. audible crackles
Win: Switch off the 'Intel SpeedStep' / 'AMD PowerNow!' BIOS option on Windows laptops.

5b. audible crackles may also come from bad or to long USB-cables or from USB-HUBS: try to test with AQVOX USB-cables.
Also limited USB-port performance: switch in BIOS from FullSpeed 15 MBit/Sec to HighSpeed 480 MBit/Sec.
Set the driver to 'internal' sample rate generation, this helps for dropout-free output.
6. Give more cpu-power to the audio/ASIO-processing:
